When test day arrives, people tend to be nervous, which is fine, everyone wants to pass the test, however, you might feel alone, and that there is no way that you’ll pass this test.. Once you are taking the test, time is running out, while you are insecure about yourself, and have made no progress on it.

You are not the only one, a good amount of people have anxiety when taking a test, myself as an example. I used to be nervous, and the anxiety most of the time won. Despite all that, I still had to come up with a way to take my tests, and move on.

What is anxiety for you?
This is a question that I was asking myself, and the answer was simple. Athletes, before big games, are not nervous, but excited, and you might be asking yourself “But this is different right? It should not be the same” Well, is not the same, however have you thought about it? You might be excited and not nervous, because if the test is important, and you might probably pass the grade, and it’s your last year, you will probably be excited and nervous at the same time but that is because you are not confident on passing this test, which is why you should not let yourself down, and think of the positive outcome.

Change your perspective
Just worry about the outcome. This single test can be the most important one in your life, and you have to pass it in order to graduate or to move on from the course.

You definitely want to get a good grade, and whatnot but that’s just part of your journey, of course passing the test would be the best result, but that is something superficial, what matters is what you are able to gain from this, relationships with people, experiences and enjoying your time at College. Your test results do not dictate your future, sure it does mean a lot, but there are always more opportunities, a test won’t end your future, you will learn from failures.

Now, that doesn’t mean you have to spend your days doing something else, you should study, and come up with a schedule, and do other activities aside from studying, this would improve your life, and will also make everything easier for you.
