Well, you failed a class? Probably the course is too hard, maybe you didn’t have enough time to study, or you just had a rough semester.

It doesn’t matter the reason, now you are stuck, and you are probably thinking of dropping the class. Most likely you are being emailed and contacted by academic advisors, your instructor and whatnot.

Don’t overreact
Now, you’ve failed a class, if it’s the first class you ever failed in College, then don’t beat yourself up. The fact that you failed a class might hurt you in a few ways, and you might feel that you are not ready for College, but that is not true, failing a class won’t change a lot, but you will have to take the class again, and yes it’s wasted time, however you will learn from this.

Failing a class won’t make you fail College, now that is in the past, so just keep moving forward.

Retaking the class
For this you will have to contact your advisor, he/she would help out which class is being offered but also they are able to help you with advice on which class to take and to make a new schedule.

We recommend you to take the class in the Summer semester, this is because you won’t be taking many classes, if any, so choosing a summer class will be ideal for you, since you will only worry about that one class.

Despite how bad you do in a class, even if you fail it, there are always opportunities to retake the class, or even just choose another class that meets the requirement of your degree to be able to graduate.
